About The Artist

Laura Eccleston

I've always had two types of dreams - those hazy, confusing thoughts of my subconscious as my brain tries to make sense of my day, but also very clear, free dreams as if I've stepped out of a dense fog. The air is fresh and I can feel the breeze or the ocean spray on my skin and I am not hampered by worries or concerns of my everyday being. In nearly all of these dreams I am by the sea, sometimes it's a busy hot day with many people around me and sometimes the sky is dark and the waves crash against the coast, yet I am never afraid. I am always observing, calm with an immense feeling of peace. This is what I hope to recreate within my art.
