- You can use any yarn and hook for this pattern, but a DK/light worsted weight yarn works best with a 3.5 or 4mm crochet hook. Why not also try a tinsel yarn!
- Yarn needle and scissors

ch = chain
st(s) = stitch(es)
US sc (single crochet) = UK dc (double crochet)
US hdc (half double) = UK htr (half treble)
hdc2tog = half double crochet 2 stitches together for decrease
