At HappyBerry, we value our community. You trust us with your information, and we're serious about that
responsibility. We believe in transparency and openness, and we're committed to being upfront about our
privacy practices, including how we treat personal information we collect or receive. We know you care
about your privacy too, so we provide settings that allow you to control how certain information is used
on HappyBerry. This policy explains our privacy practices for HappyBerry and services provided by HappyBerry.

HappyBerry Data Collection
Why do we collect your data?
To access our free patterns you must become a member as our patterns are for members only. This is so we can
protect our content from copyright theft and avoid spam content and therefore allow us to continue to provide our content for free.
What data does HappyBerry collect?
As a guest
- No personal information is collected.
- Pattern statistics, i.e. which patterns have been viewed is collected, but is anonymous. We have no idea who you are.
As a member
If you register to become a member then we collect the following information on registration. You provide this data to us on a
consensual basis, i.e. you give us permission to store your data for as long as you want to access our free content.
- Name or username - used to greet and address you
- Email address - used to login and recieve email alerts from the website (such as forgotten password)
- Password - used to login
- Country and IP Address - used to tailor the website and comply with applicable local policies and laws
- Whether or not you want to receive our newsletter
- Pattern statistics, i.e. which patterns you have viewed and downloaded. This helps us see which patterns are popular and also
provides you with a history of which patterns you've viewed, which is available in your account area
Newsletter Subscribers
You will only receive our newsletter if you register as a member and you opt in to receive it, and you have to specifically tick a box to opt in; you
won't be automatically subscribed by registering as a member. You can unsubscribe at any time by either clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom
of our email newsletters or by visiting your account area and opting out from there.
- We record what links are clicked on in our newsletters so that we can see what is popular to our members

- Address - used for tax purposes and/or delivery
How do we store and protect your data?
We store your data securely in a password protected database hosted by our web hosting company in their Secure Tier 3 data center.
We use SSL to encrypt your data whilst it is being transmitted across the internet. Our website is scanned daily to ensure it is malware free.
We backup our database daily and the backups are stored securely with our web hosting company. Each backup is kept for 3 days and then deleted.
Do we share your data with anyone else?
We never share any of your data with anyone else unless we are required to do so by law or to provide you with the service we promised such as delivering
your order. This means HappyBerry will NEVER sell or disclose your data to third parties such as marketing companies without your explicit consent, EVER.
(We hate this sort of thing as much as you do!). All the information that is collected by HappyBerry is only used for improving our services and products,
for identification and authentication purposes, for contacting members and for general research and aggregate reporting. If you have any questions about any of
the information collected by us then please do get in touch.
How do I change my personal data?
You can change or correct the personal data we hold on you at any time by visiting your account area. From your account area
you can also change how we contact you by editing your email address and by opting in or out of our newsletter. If you are a HappyBerry customer then you
can change or correct your shipping address for future orders or deliveries. However, you cannot edit your order history. We are required to retain this
information for at least 10 years for accounting and tax purposes. If you are subscribed to a mailing list then we can update your details on request if
you reply to an email you have received from us, but the easiest way is to unsubscribe from the list by clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link in the email,
which will delete your existing data, and then re-subscribing to the mailing list on the website using your new contact details.
Getting a copy of the data we hold
You can view the personal data we hold as well as order history by visiting your account area. If you are not a member
but have purchased products or services from HappyBerry as a guest then please contact us. If you want a copy of all the data we hold on you then please
email us using the email address you registered or purchased a product with and we will check this against our records and email you back a copy of the
data we hold, free of charge. You can use our email address at the bottom of this policy to contact us.
How do I delete my personal data?
Members: You can delete your account and the data we hold in your account at any time by visiting your account area. If you delete
your account we will permanently delete the data from our database and it cannot or will not be recovered. However, you can rejoin afterwards by simply
registering as a member again. However, we cannot delete your order history and related data because we are required to retain it for at least 10 years for
accounting and tax purposes.
Mailing Lists: You can delete this data (name and email address) by clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the emails we send, by replying to
an email and asking to be removed or by contacting us via another method and stating your email address you used to subscribe to the mailing list.
Once removed from the mailing list, your data is permanently deleted and you have to re-subscribe to receive further email updates.
Age restrictions
HappyBerry Terms of Use require all account members to be at least 13 years of age, and/or have the permission and supervision of a responsible parent or
legal guardian to understand these policies, therefore, this policy does not discuss use of our site or services by anyone below this age.
Contact and Messages from HappyBerry
On occasion, HappyBerry will send you messages. The default, required form of all communication is via email. Some messages from HappyBerry are service-related
and required for members. Examples of service-related messages include, but are not limited to: a welcome/confirmation email when you register your account,
notification of an order, or correspondence with HappyBerry's support team. These messages are never promotional in nature. You may not opt-out of receiving
service-related messages from HappyBerry. If you no longer wish to use HappyBerry's services or receive service-related messages, then you must close your account.
Other messages such as newsletters are not required, and you can control which optional messages you choose to receive by changing your settings in your account.
You must opt-in or subscribe to begin receiving newsletters. Members may subscribe or unsubscribe from optional newsletters under your account settings or by
following the instructions contained in the newsletter emails. These emails are typically sent out once a month or on special seasonal occasions.
Lawful Information Sharing & Disclosure
HappyBerry may share your personal information to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or
services to you or in order to do their jobs and send out deliveries. HappyBerry may also release your personal information to Stripe, Google or a third-party in order
to comply with a subpoena or other similar legal procedure, or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law; prevent
imminent physical harm or financial loss; or investigate or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or violations of HappyBerry's Terms of Use.
We may disclose personally identifiable information to parties in compliance with our Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy, as we in our sole discretion
believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity.
In such events, HappyBerry may disclose any information held on file.
Third Party Services & Plug-ins
Google
HappyBerry uses third-party advertising services delivered by Google. For more information on how Google manages your data and their privacy policies

AddThis
HappyBerry uses AddThis to provide social media sharing services. AddThis may collect your site usage data. For more information, please refer to the AddThis

Third Party Plug-ins
Also if you a load a page on HappyBerry that has a social plug-in from a third-party site or service, such as a Like or Send button from Facebook, you are also
loading content from that third-party site. That site may request cookies directly from your browser. These interactions are subject to the privacy policy of the
third-party site just like Google. Our policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that HappyBerry does not own or control, or individuals that HappyBerry
does not employ or manage. If you provide your information to others on HappyBerry or throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to the use or disclosure of
the information you provide to them. HappyBerry does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third
parties where applicable. HappyBerry is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the
HappyBerry website. We encourage you to ask questions with these third parties before you disclose your personal information to others.
HappyBerry Cookies
A cookie is a small data file (text file) sent from a web site to your browser that is stored on your computer's hard drive. HappyBerry uses our own cookies for
a number of purposes, detailed below. The cookie file will typically contain the name of the cookie (like a filename), the domain it came from (www.happyberry.co.uk)
and how long it will be stored (it's expiry date). The remaining data in our cookies contains information about your usage of the HappyBerry website and is encrypted
to keep your data secret from prying eyes.
Members Only:
DCE.Customer: This cookie is stored if you tick the 'Remember me on this device' box on the login form. It stores your unique member ID, a number we use to identify you, your full name or username and your preferred currency if you're using the HappyBerry Markerplace.
Session Cookies:
ASP.NET_SessionId: When you log into the website our web server stores some data (your member ID) on the server so that you are recognised each time you visit a page so that we can serve up personalised information and so that you can retrieve, update and delete your own personal data. This cookie is only accessible by our web server and contains a unique session ID to identify your device. Without this cookie you would not be able to log into the website. This cookie is deleted when you close your browser and is not used to collect any information about you.
Third Party Cookies & Tracking Technologies
HappyBerry may partner with third-party services such as Google who may also set cookies. These cookies allow a partner to recognize your computer each time you
visit HappyBerry, but do not allow access to personally identifiable information from HappyBerry. HappyBerry does not have access or control over these third-party
cookies, and they are not covered by our privacy statement. You can configure your browser's settings to reflect your preference to accept or reject cookies or
third party cookie. Please note however that if you reject all cookies, you will not be able to take full advantage of HappyBerry's services. HappyBerry uses Google

Personal Information Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. Your HappyBerry account information
is protected by a password, but it is important that you protect against unauthorized access of your account
and information by choosing your password carefully and updating it regularly, and keeping your password and
computer secure by signing out after using our services.
We strongly recommend you use a different password for HappyBerry than those you use for other services
such as your email account and online banking.
HappyBerry does not hold any sensitive information (such as credit card numbers). HappyBerry follows generally
accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and
once HappyBerry receives it. However no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage,
is 100% secure so therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal
information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If for any reason we are informed that there has been a data
breach then we will inform you immediately.
Personal Data Retention
HappyBerry will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
HappyBerry will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes,
and enforce our agreements. If you no longer want HappyBerry to use your information to provide you services, you
may delete your account.
Privacy Policy Changes
HappyBerry reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it periodically. We'll
communicate changes by posting a notice on the site. If we make material changes to this policy you will be notified
here, by email, or other places HappyBerry deems appropriate.
