This simple yet elegant 0-6 months baby dress is just perfect for any Spring/Summer newborn. Beautiful if crocheted in soft pastel colours, and why not thread some ribbon through the stitches for a sweet finishing touch or add some extra crocheted flowers along the straps.

This pattern is in US terminology and uses the Parquet stitch however previous knowledge of this stitch is not required. The straps use the half knot/Solomon knot foundation stitch (there are links in the pattern for instructions on this stitch if you'd like to try this) but you can just crochet a simple double crochet strap if you prefer. For a longer dress just repeat rows 14 and 15 until desired length is reached.

Although this pattern is rated intermediate, this pattern is not beyond an adventurous beginner.
